This policy covers dispatch of jointing sheets and cellulose fibre gasket material from Charminar Jointings Pvt. Ltd. within India and for export.
Dispatch methods
- Domestic: road transport for full and part loads, courier for small parcels. Typical transit time is 2–7 days depending on the destination.
- Export: by sea or air through the freight forwarder of your choice, on FOB or CIF terms as agreed.
Lead time
- Stock sheets: dispatched within 1–2 working days of confirmed payment.
- Cut-to-size gaskets: 3–7 working days depending on quantity.
- Made-to-order grades and sizes: as stated on the order confirmation.
Freight charges
Freight is charged at actuals based on weight, volume and destination, and is quoted before dispatch. Freight-paid terms apply only where stated in the quotation.
Inspection on receipt
Please check the packing condition and quantity on delivery. If a package is damaged or short, photograph it before signing the transporter receipt and inform us within 24 hours so that we can raise a claim with the carrier.
Delays
Transit times may be affected by weather, transport strikes, public holidays or customs clearance. We inform you and agree a revised schedule as soon as a delay is known.
